Only Egyptian passport holders and non-Egyptian passport holders who have resident permits in Egypt can apply for Schengen visa at the Embassy of Estonia in Cairo. Visa applications should be lodged at the office of visa centre VFS Global.

In exceptional cases, individuals who do not reside in Egypt may also apply for a short-term visa at the Estonian Embassy in Cairo through the VFS Global center. This is only allowed if applying in their home country is not possible. For example, this applies when Estonia does not have a diplomatic mission handling visa applications in the applicant’s country of residence and is not represented there by another Schengen Member State.
