The Estonian Embassy in Cairo was proud to host the Art Bridge: Estonia & Egypt on April 28, 2026 with a talented Estonian multidisciplinary artist Liina Leo. She was the first Estonian artist to participate in an art residency program in Egypt and the event centered around her research into the ancient Egyptian culture, especially the representations of the afterlife and the parallels she found with Estonia and its culture.
Ambassador Ingrid Amer confirmed the importance of the cultural dialogue and exchange and reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to strengthen the cultural ties between Estonia and Egypt through the universal language of art.
